12 valve into 86 chevy w/NV4500 need right side output tranfer case that will work?

Last winter i went and put a 91 12valve CTD cranked p-pump (now it really is!) into a 86 chevy 1/2ton. Everything workered great except my weak link which is my gm tranny. Burnt up a turbo400 that was behind a 4BT then paid the money for a built 700r4 that they said stood up behind a 6.5turbo! Well it aint no Freakin Cummins thats for sure!! Long strory short burnt!! Now found a complete swap for a NV4500 and I mean everything but the transfer case? Here's where i need some wisdom! I need a Right side 4x4 output to fit a Dodge NV4500? Sorry I rushin this haven't measured dia. shaft or counted splines just wondering if anyone out on this sweet site has hit the same snag? Heard a few things while back about some cast iron NP208 or 205's able to swap whaterver input shat to make it work with any spline or shaft dia by swaping bearing and seal along with input shaft? Any truth to that?

Yeah you just need a np205 from a manual dodge, has 29 spline input. If its from an auto, it only has 23 spline input. The NV4500 if its from a v-10 or diesel is 29 spline output. If you're thinking you can use a nv4500 from a gasser I believe it has a smaller input shaft, and a 23 spline output.

Wow how did you burn up a TH-400 ??!?!?!?!?!?!?

What did you have done to that 4bt? lol

The 700r4 i could believe. YOU CAN'T build a 700r4 to live behind 600ft lbs of torque.

It is easy to burn up a 400 when the RPMs are so low, they don't build enough pressure down low to hold.

The turbo 400 was behind a 4BT i put it behind a 6BT and more or less the stall on the converter still wasn't low enough and the slippage and heat killed it! Thats what I guessing!! Yeah goodfells claimed 400hp and 800tq but that didn't work!!
