Worst transmission problem ever

Worst transmission problem ever
I am convinced that I have the worst transmission problem ever.
I sold my truck to a friend a couple of years ago. He has it for about 6 months and blew up the transmission because the cooling line that runs next to the engine rubbed through and leaked trans fluid. It took a couple of days to leak the trans fluid out but he didn't know how to check fluid even when it started shifting funny. He ran it dry and the truck has not worked since. I rebuilt the transmission, it worked for about 30 miles and gave up. I rebuilt the transmission again. It went about 30 miles then started slipping again. He had it towed to a transmission shop and had it rebuilt. It never made it off the lot. He said it had a bad computer. We ordered a new computer and I replaced it. We still had the same problem. I just bought a working transmission and replaced the entire thing. Every sensor, hard part, and torque converter has been replaced but after about 30 miles it did it again.
The transmission lines have been replaced with hydraulic hose, and each time I rebuilt the trans I flushed them out with denatured alcohol and compressed air. I put a DTT valvebody in it the second time I rebuilt it. This time, it has a BD power transmission in it. WTH is going on?
ANY HELP?

Is it smoking clutches? Is it starting out in 1st or is it starting out in 2nd or 3rd gear? Like user name said, is it the same part that keeps failing? Are you doing any pressure checks before you pull and rebuild and after you rebuild and first install?
What year is the truck? The 96 you have in you sig or a different one?
