They will work, no problem. Might have to buy the 98-02 power switch, but other than they bolt up.

Here's my old 97 with 98-02 towing mirrors. Just be sure to get the support brackets if the mirrors you order don't include them.

Might check out partstrain.com. They seem to have the best price on towing mirrors.
