Wheel bearing exploded, need 2wd spindle

I'm looking for the entire front spindle for a 97 2500 2WD. My bearings exploded yesterday. No warning signs or nothing. I was going about 50 mph and it went berzerk. Barely made it 2 miles home. Got home and the spindle is bent and the front bearing is welded to it. Anyone else had this happen?
Might as well buy a new one. I can't find anything but 4X4 front spindles, even online. Any advice. ALso any tips.

Thanks a bunch

Wow! How many miles on the bearings? How many miles since greased?

I would check a bone yard for the best price. I believe there are auto salvage search engines on line. Good luck, KD

Just bought the truck about 3 months ago. I was planning on getting it fully serviced this month. It only has 62k on it. Heck of a deal, I guess the thing was outta grease. I can't really explain it. Didn't hear or feel anything. I found a a spindle form a junkyard for $75. Anyone have advice on favorite rotors and brake pads. Thanks

Bought rotors & ceramic pads from NAPA for something like $350 when mine finally wore out at about 250K - my bearings still looked in great shape though (and I haven't been too religious about re-packing them) - I've heard the factory Timpken bearings last a long long time, maybe your's were dry or adjusted too tight or the seal went.
