On the drivers side of the block, right in front of the fuel heater. Mine's broken, where do I get a new one?

Possibly Dealer item only, Check at your local parts houses (Advanced, Autozone, NAPA etc....) Somebody else will chime in.

According to this diagram CLICK It looks like the oil pressure sensor. The Cummins part # is 3923200 according to the chart Here. It might also be had at your favorite parts store.

Thanks man, that helps! here's the correct link for the p/n chart http://www.dodgeram.org/tech/dsl/Fac...ecs.html#parts

I googled the p/n, looks like its been superceded by 4741609, then NAPA online shows 2 differnet ones http://napaonline.com/masterpages/NO...artNum=4741609
I'll bring these p/n's to NAPA on Monday

Beware of generic autoparts senders, they don't last.
You'll be money and time spent ahead to buy a sender from Cummins.

My oil pressure sender started acting up on me, so I bought one from O'reilly's. It reads lower than the old one did which I am not real happy about. It used to sit at 40 idling.. Now it shows it down to almost the mark under 40 idling, and comes to 40 cruising. I guess it doesent matter, cause im sure it has the same oil pressure that it has always had, but it bugs me I guess if it goes out again, I will have a cummins one.

Well Cummins wanted $47 if it was in their dist. warehouse, which is wasnt. They were going to have to order it from the factory at an additional charge to me, so I passed. I'll try the $20 Napa sender.

I also picked up the extra deep sender socket

Well crap, I guess I'll go (back) to Cummins and see about the original p/n 3923200. I'm not sure what the deal is with that superceded p/n, but the one I got doesnt match my connector (bullet vs. blade terminals and differnet shape and keying). I should have taken a closer look at the pic on NAPA.com or brought my old broken sensor with me

If you have a O'Rielys parts store close they usually keep both in stock. They do around here anyway

I got mine for a better price at local Dodge dealer (compared to Cummins). According to my Cummins parts guy, they get it from Mopar.

So I called the Dodge dealer, got the p/n, they wanted $53. I ended up getting the NAPA part for like $28 after my discount.
