What's a KDP, frt seal leak, rear shock
I've seen many postings mentioning a kdp - what is this? I have a 95 CTD and I'm pretty sure the front seal is leaking oil. I understand this is the time to fix the kdp - is this correct. Also, for the front seal leak is this require radiator removal or can I remove the fan shroud and belts and get the front cover off? Lastely, my right rear shock seems to have come off at the upper mount - it tore a chunk of the frame with it - does this happen much and is there any special action to take other than welding the frame and reattaching the shock mount?
Thanks,
Pat

Dang, I thought I was the only one with the broken shock mount. On mine, it's the left rear shock, and the frame-to-axle snubber is missing on that side. I just assumed that during one of the times when I had it loaded (LOADED!!), it must have bottomed out and over-compressed the shock. Had mine welded back. Guess I ought to consider replacing the snubber, too.

I welded mine back and seems ok now
I'm not sure what happened, but the snubber is still in place. It tore the shock mount part of the cross member up completely away. It's all welded together now.
