Like Fox says, the only difference is that Canadian trucks will have day time running lights. Unless someone has changed it the turbo is no bigger either. The kilometers per hour gets a little confusing. Im still not liking the metric system and never will. Check it out [the truck] and good luck with it......

thanks for the input? where are all the trucks assembled? i remember when my girlfriend was looking for a VW turbo diesel the word was checking where it was assembled. the VW's assembled in Mexico had issues and the ones from germany didnt.

I think all my instructions are in both languages... like everything else. :P
The main thing would be the speedo and the daytime running lights (DRLs).
My DRL module is currently unplugged for two reasons:
-> It died for the second time a couple years ago, not long after I bought the truck.
-> They have been known to light the trucks on fire.
The DRL module is on the D/S fender. Unplugging it deactivates it. The only change you will notice is a loss of high-beam indicator (and consequently, you will be able to turn on your fog lights, if equipped, with your high-beams on). This can be restored by connecting two of the wires from the connector that went to the DRL module.
Otherwise, I can't think of much... manufacturers will sometimes have other minor differences... like making block heaters non-optional up here (a friend of mine from Australia was wondering if all our vehicles were powered by electricity...), but I would imagine the same is common in the northern states.

Once you use the metric system every day, it grows on you. 100 boils, 0 freezes and -40 is still -40...LOL... The real problem is that the span of the gauge cluster is in PSI and then garbled to match in kPa. The number span doesn't make sense. My speedo has both, just the mileage is in Km...
