What years were affected by the KDP?

What years were affected by the KDP?
Hello! I'm asking this 'cause I'm working on putting together a timeline for changes to the Dodge diesel line-up..actually, I'm going all the way from '89 to present, so this probably won't be the last question I ask.
What was the span in which the KDP is a potential issue? Was this a problem with all 12 valves, or was it corrected later on, or were early engines not affected?

I think the majority of problems were from 1994 to late 98 and even some early 99 24 V, but from what I know all 12 valves are a risk of the KDP. Mine is a 97 and it came out.

Majority is from 94 to 98.4 12valves. havent heard of any 24v with KDP. But might just be me.

The first gens were affected by this as well (89-93) but more so the 10mm bolt right above the KDP was prone to backing out. Alot of cases have been reported of this bolt coming out and breaking the cam. In fact, my neighbors 93 had this happen.

The KDP problem also affects the first 24 V's as well. This includes 98 & 99's and possibly some 2000's. Cummins made the design change sometime in 2000.
