Hey. I have a friend who has a 94 12v 5 speed 4x4 with around 110k on it. He said it has happened before. The airbag light and abs light comes on, the cruise doesnt work, the a/c and (i think)blower doesnt work and the power windows dont work. I figuered a vacuum line or something leaking but he hasn't had any luck finding anything. We dissconected the bateries for 5 hours or so to see if it might reset something but no luck there.... has anyone had anything like this before? Any tips on what might be causing it?? Much appriciated! it happened before but only lasted a day. Its been fine for a few weeks then this past week he said it wouldnt work or go away. TIA!!

try cleaning soe of the grounds, mak sure none have rotted off the engine and look for corrosion around them. not having a ground wire where it is supposed to be can cause wacky stuff like this.

k i'll tell him to check it out. pretty much just look the entire electrical over? shouldnt take too long, their pretty machanical but hopefully that'll work. thanks

just basically, main engine grounds, battery ground to the frame and all those ones you can see in the obvious places are the worst...

Well my buddy gave up and took it to an auto shop near his house to get it checked out and for anyone who has this problem or other weird stuff check out the ignition switch, thats what the shop said was the culprit so yeah haha. Thanks though guys!

haha, now that i think about it mine does the exact same thing if i jiggle the ignition around, i just never worried about because it isnt a problem yet.
