water pump,T stat question

I am going to replace my radiator due to it rotting out from the outside, Should I replace the water pump and T stat they are both original. I have no overheat or underheat issues and it dosent leak. The only reason I am thinking about it is because I will aready be in there.
what have you all seen after 200K miles.
Thanks
Mike

the water pumps are known to last 300-400K+

I was wondering the same thing when I did my KDP, t-stats seem to go a while too.

on the JD tractors I buy a rebuild kit that has new impeller, bearing, seal and gasket.

If it ain't broke don't fix it! If your tstat craps out you will know as the temp won't come up very far.Usually the rubber gasket around the tsat fails and holds the tsat open.

I just changed my w/p @ 310,000 mi. it was just starting to leak. Since I was right in there changing my gear housing . p/o had assured me that the kdp had been taken care of .

Thanks for the info, I am not going to touch them. I might look at them at the 300K mile mark.
