Truck was running fine and one night i ran in a store and left truck idling, upon my return truck was still idling normal. Got in and when i put it in reverse it just bogged down. Put it in park and it idled back up a little, tried again and got the same result. Turned the truck off and checked oil and the plugs on my injection pump and it was all good. Tried to crank truck and it would turn over and hit but wouldnt fire. Making a sorta scratching noise too. Tried changing fuel filter and that didnt work. Cracked an injector line and it was getting fuel. Maybe the fuel shutoff relay or solenoid?

Check the spade connection on the fuel sol. they get hot and warp losing conn.

The spades are good, i have power to solenoid too. Even jumped the solenoid from the battery.

Do these trucks have a fuel shut off relay too or is it just the solenoid? If so where is the relay?

Pull the sol and remove the plunger and spring put the sol back in less the plunger and spring if the truck starts the sol is bad. if the relay was bad the truck would have started when you hooked the sol to the bat so thats not it.
