vibration after TC gone south and new one installed
Hi' last week had TC go bad and vibrated when no load on motor, drove 100km. to get to garage. New trans. and TC but have a slight studder or light vibration betwee 900 and 1200rpm. Could the vibration from the bad TC cause the front vibration damper on my truck to mess up too? Or could it just be the new trans and TC? After 1200rpm the motor is as smooth as silk and works great. Just being on the safe side. Also had fuel pump on motor go bad too and had new one installed. All on the same trip

TCs will vibrate sometimes. Usually it's when you put a heavier, stronger TC in, due to the thicker metal used in them. I have aftermarket TCs in both my trucks and they both have a little vibration in neutral.
Nature of the beast, I guess. Haven't noticed any ill effects and have almost 100K on one of them.
