Is this tube supposed to touch the exhuast?

When I pulled off the downpipe a few days ago, I noticed this metallic tubing was touching the exhaust and it left a mark from rubbing it. Just curious to know if it's supposed to be that way and if yours is like that too.

I used some zip ties to move it so it doesn't touch anymore.

Those look like the vacuum lines that run from the transfer case up to the center axle disconnect. Wouldn't hurt to get them away from the downpipe. The only issue you might have is if they were to rub together for an extended period of time it may put a hole in the vacuum line and cause your 4 wheel drive to not work.

^That's what I thought at first too, but it looks like there's some electrical wires running through them.

Yes...A while back I remember seeing those lines on my truck...I think they lead to either the transmission or transfer case can't remember. When I had the 3 inch down pipe the lines didn't touch. When I install the 4 inch, sure enough they where against the pipe.I carefull bent them away from the downpipe.
