my truck will die sometimes when I have to come to a really quick stop, the idle just falls off and it dies, but not all the time unless you have the A/C on in town driving with the A/C on when it is really hot is impossible without the truck dieing at every red light.

 

Sounds like your idle is low, 750 RPM in gear w/AC on(auto trans). Fill out your signature so others can help.
