My transfer case not only leaks but the chain is popping when in 4 hi or low. It's time for a rebuild. I was originally going to get a reman unit and slap it in. Now, due to cost, I am going to try and rebuild it myself. I have the factory manual that shows tear down to reassembly. Are there any special tricks or tools that I need to know about to rebuild it? Transfer case is 241dld.
