The relay i have pictured is almost $90 from autozone, but the fuel shutoff relay listed on geno's garage is only $20. Whats the difference between the two and why is genos so cheap? The part number from the one from autozone 19384.

As for the relay, AutoZone is not your friend, Rock Auto has Standard RY607 relays for fuel shutoff for $14.48 each, they also have Airtex 1R1153 relays ( the same one...) for $ 96.89.
It pays to shop around man..........

I finally got my fsm in and the new fuel shutoff relay in. The truck now will start without the bridged connector and will start using the ignition. Now i just need to track down why the pcm and tach arent working, any pointers where to begin?
Also in speaking more with my cousin about the truck he said that he had the pcm replaced, might it be possible he got one from another year thats why its not working? and also whats the model number for a 97 auto pcm i dint see one in the fsm.

Federal Emissions, Automatic, 56040454AA
Cali. Emissions, before 1/1/97 56040454AA
Cali. Emissions, after 1/1/97 56040506AD
As for the Tach, nothing I can say other than start tracing wiring, it is a PITA, but necessary..........

No way that I am aware of.
Any chance that you can find a DRB3 to borrow? ( Chrysler scan tool ) Not sure if others you can force 2 way communications......
Anyway, a bad PCM would be a rarity, since 1995 they have the bus voltage protected, took most of the fried PCM problems with it.
Something else I just thought about, are you sure they flashed the PCM?
