Trans issues?

Hi everyone I just got my trans flushed about 2 weeks ago and today this morning I started truck and started out down the road and the truckonly went 30 no matter how hard I pushed the peddle but if I lifted off the pedel and just lightly pressed it, it seemed to have more power but still only could go 35-40 when I went down a hill I got to 55-60 till I had to go up the other side the speed dropped down even with the pedel all the way down imlimped it back and shut it off keep in mind it was 5 degrees out this morning. I let the truck sit for a few hours and tried it again and tada it worked drove it for a while all was good till I let sit for a couple hours it all started again. Any idea anyone I checked the fluid it was about 1/2 quart low but still in the hash mark

The engine won't go over 1800 rpm and while trying to get to highway speed it will blow some blue smoke till I back off the pedel and just barely press it.if I put it in N i can bring it to redline all day long. But when I shut it off and try again all is fine so I think it's a trans prob

This may not be you issue, but the trans won't go into overdrive or lock-up until a certain temp is reached- at least my 47RH won't- so it won't go but so fast in 3rd. If it worked fine later, once the fluid was warm, than I would suspect that first. Especially if your first experience with trouble coincides with a very cold morning...

sounds like your trans is fine. your fuel is gelling because its cold and not all stations run blended fuel because it cost more. it has no power under load but will rev with out a load, because of lack of fuel getting to pump. my truck did it last last winter and didnt run right untill i changed the filter and put some anti gel in tank.
