Mine came with just a probe, anybody have a pic of how you made that work. I have had the guage in my truck for two years, but not hooked up because I didn't have the money for a new pan with the bung in it. Any help would be great.

Genos garage has an adapter that gos in the cooler line. Your probe screws into that. I got it on my truck.

I used the one from I believe midnite diesel that just clamps onto the hot line so no cutting & no leaks seems to have a pretty quick response.

Hot line is ideal but more work. I've got mine in the pan b/c it's more of a filler gauge and it's alright.. needle doesn't move much.

what kind of readings would you get if you put it in the tranny line where the threaded hole is for the idiot light sensor?
