TQ lock up too early
With over drive off under light throttle and no load its locking up between 18 and 20 miles an hour. sometimes it goes in and out of lockup till I get more speed. It just seemed to start happening during this very cold and snowy weather. Just did a 2 hr search no one has a early lock up problem. Its not to bad but I am lugging the engine to low. but I watch my foot.
Thanks
Mike

First thing to do is check your tps adjustment

If it is going in and out of overdrive it may be worth cleaning it too, then adjust it upon reinstallation.

That link for the tsp adjustment is great, mine seems to have smoothed out with the dryer weather. Its just the lockup that was functioning early and going in and out. Today it seems normal. In 3rd OD off it is locking up at 25 to 28 MPH under very light load.
Thanks

30 mph is factory lock-up, OD off, especially during light throttle. Heqavier throttle will delay this since 3rd will also be later, and the PCM will not lock-up until 3rd is reached (providing you have a stock controlled trans that is)a dirty speed sensor connection, or failing speed sensor could cause some noise that the pcm receives as false speed information.
