TPS Question!

I'm asking on behalf of my father-in-law! Does his 97 model have one? The purpose of this question is b/c his truck is acking just like my o2 did when mine when out! Thanks in advance!

It does have a TPS and they do go bad causing shift problems.

Thanks soo much! I was aware of the 24valve but I did not know the 12 had those same problems too! Where is the best place to get one for these 12valves? Thanks again!

FWIW, Napa is ~$30 more than Autozone, and Autozone has twice the warranty. I'm just sayin'...

I'll be testing, filtering, and maybe pot'ing before I buy anything...
