torque plate question

Only if you use the added power. You will know the rpm will rise but the speedo won't. I ran mine like that for 10,000 miles before changing the clutch. You have to be "throttle conscience in 3rd, 4th, and 5th though.

Got the break off screw out, took about 2 minutes and figured I'd let everyone else who is where I am know the screw is a 6mmx1.0x18mm long so once you get it out your not scratching through the bolt bin looking for one

OK, won't have time to do the grinding for awhile but did have time today to pop the cover off the AFC and slide the stock plate foreward. My recommendation to other newb's (like me) crank up the star wheel and shove the plate foreward before you buy a 0 or 100 to get a grasp on how much power just moving that plate 1/4" and the cover 1/8" gives you (and also how much smoke it now produces). Gonna run it this way till I get a new clutch then grind the plate.
