Torque Convertor can't make up Mind

One more suggestion that may help-Verify that all of your grounds are 1)present and 2)soundly connected. My '91 half ton would bang in and out of o/d and in and out of lockup for no apparent reason...I figured it was because it was an old plow truck that just had a beat tranny--come to find out the main ground from the battery to the 'block' had actually been mounted to part of the aluminum(sp?) accessory mount! Moving that ground to the cylinder head solved all of my shifting problems and my gauges started to read accurately to boot. I know my problem resulted from my ECM being confused/not grounded, but since your tranny was worked on recently, it might be worth it to take a closer look at all the connections.
