I understand that only about 2 companys make the billet covers and componets used to build a 3 disk TC the main differnce from one to the other is the color of the paint, I was told this by the TC rebuild shop localy who built mine. He gets his parts from Sonex, a well known trany part manufacture. Call the shop you are thinking of using and ask for some references. You should be fine though. make shure your getting a low stall stator. good luck you will love the upgrade, not cheep but worth it!

Thanks for the info. This is supposed to be the only thing that they make. They make their own Stators and say that other people have copied their designs. I have never heard of them but they are confident enough to give a 2 year unconditional warrenty. Theirs is not cheap either. $1035. which i thought was resonable. i am not looking for a cheap converter but saw this and thought it was worth a follow up. Thanks

Goerend sells a Triple Disc TC with a 3 year/100K warranty for $1050. They are a very pleasant company to deal with, and their tranny's and parts are among the best in the business. They also sell a single disc TC with the same warranty for $800, Dave told me it was good for 300hp provided your VB has enough pressure.

Precision Industries is the teacher not the student in the converter world. They are the place alot of people get their billet front covers from. They make top notch mean race converters for the track, which I run in my car and I am pretty sure they lay claim to being the first to introduce multidisk converters. They are a very good company to deal with. Dave Goerend likes em If you buy one of his part of it will the Precision Industries anyways. Just Dave has a better warranty, I.E. lifetime or 100k.

all things considered ... if price is the same. much rather purchase from Dave Goerend. He will give you the support needed.

Exactly. Longer warranty and awesome service. PI is good, but why not have another year added to the warranty for the same or less money.

PS PI's converter is pink while Goerends are black.
