Timing a P7100?

I've been trying to find a link that will give me the steps for setting the pump at a certain degree BTC. I know how to do it pin to pin, but would like to know how its done with the right tools. I assume its done with a dial indicator that reads in mm on top the plunger and another on top of the piston. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I know there are some pump room techs out there.

you only need one dial indicator that reads in .1mm. you need a dv socket, a gear pull for the pump, and an adapter for the guage to go in the dv. you need to find tdc, put the guage and adapter into the #1 dv valve. pull the lock washer and nut off of the gear for the pump. the pump will still be locked to the engine because it is tapered.set reading to 7-9mm on the guage you do this by pushing the guage down in the adapter until it reads it. rotate the engine counterclockwise until the reading stops dropping. you zero the guage out, and rotate the engine clockwise until you get to the desired lift setting. have someone hold the engine with the barring tool whole you pull the gear. this will unlock the pump from the engine. you rotate the engine back to tdc, put the gear back on according to the torque specs. make sure you have the desired timing, and put everything back together, not all that difficult once you make the plunge and do it once.
