Timing case assembly after KDP attack.
Has anyone done one of these and have photo's or video? My case is cracked at the inside bend behind the fan pully. I want to change it because It's the only seal that I haven't replaced and It leaks lie the deep water horizon in the gulf. Or is there anyone in ct that's willing to help for pizza and beerz??? (I work at refinery's and tank farms, they don't like to see rainbows on the ground.)

yea ive been there and done that. it was cracked in the same place you are describing, but the leak was just enough to be annoying. I will be honest it is not an easy job and will take you all of 10 hours with the right tools. make sure to get a genuine cummins case to put back in. i have seen some pretty flimsy copy cat cases for cheap...dont buy one of them!

I have only used the cam gear removal method on the last five case replacement jobs.
It cuts the time easily in half and isn't all that difficult.
Cummins has been using this method exclusively for at least ten years.
The saved work well pays for the investment in a good gear puller.
