You will want to add a barring tool into the mix as well, especially if you have an auto. Makes adjusting the engine position much easier, and will give you a back stop when you go to torque the pump nut, which is definitely lacking on an auto truck.

 

You can do the barring tool on the cheap also if you have a welder.
My tool is just the gear from an old starter welded to a cheap socket.
