Nope. No gasket. No fluids to seal there- the transmission has a seal on the input shaft to hold its fluid in.

Should note that I had the 5th gear nut fixed recently.

Could any of that have caused this?

IIRC, there is an o-ring inbetween the engine and the block. No gasket per say, though. I'll see what I can find on the o-ring and/or pictures.

Picture is of both an automatic flywheel and torque converter and a clutch flywheel and adapter plate you asked about. Each part has a number by it. Next to that number in the list is a description of the part and below it is the Dodge part number.

vzdude,
I think he means between the bellhousing and the transmission itself.

There are only four bolts that hold the bellhousing to the trans, no gasket. There is a seal in the bearing retainer that the throwout rides on. If it leaks it could leak though the mating surfaces.

Hydraulic oil?

I'm not good with clutches.

If its the bearing retainer/input seal it will be leaking syntorq (trans fluid) if you are seeing hydralic fluid that is coming from the clutch master or slave cylinder.

Smell should give it away, Syntorq reeks.

Yeah.....after re reading it, I think that's what he's after. Agreed. The only thing to leak at the front of the trans is the input seal. If it was a slave cylinder leaking it would show in the clutch master cylinder resevoir. Also, like said above, the trans fluid has a pretty distinct smell!

That little bowl under the hood next to the brake master cylinder?

Its full and has never moved since I owned the truck.
