TC Lockup Switch Options.....
Now that I have a built trans, I plan to use a late model Automatic shifter with the Tow Haul Button on the end to use as my TC lockup switch....button. Anyone done this or have any ideas as to what would just bolt on my 1995 2wd 12v?
Just thinking it all thru right now. Thanks for any INPUT....

HotWheelBill,
Don't know if the shift lever is hollow. I ended up mounting mine under the top edge of the dash by above the gauges. I did that so my 4 year old grandson was less likely to hit it when he's in my truck playing. I use my switch not so much to keep the TC locked up, but to keep it unlocked on long hills. I have a potentiometer since my TPS quit twice in two years and was tired of putting $200 into every time.

Numidian,
I have a potentiometer in place of the TPS, so it will now kick out of TC lockup by stepping on the pedal. So, I use the switch to keep the TC from locking up. I do have a tranny temp gauge to watch the fluid temps. I've also moved my petentiometer so I can adjust it to keep the TC from locking up if I'm pulling a load and need the extra power. We have a 7 - 8 % grade for 8 miles that I sometimes have to go up and with 10K on the trailer it's necessary. Most times I'm down in second gear.
