taper ?

Does anybody know the taper of a 94 4x4 2500 tie rod ends.I'm thinking of building my own tie rod and relay rods using chevy 1ton tie rod ends which we commonly do with our rock crawling rigs.

Thanks in advance

Yes and Yes. Stronger....barely. Cheaper....A whole bunch. Easier to find and purcahse later down the road....OH YEAH. And of course then you can make your bars from quarter inch wall DOM!!

I don't know the taper off the top of my head, but any parts store can look it up in the catalog.

I have done a few sets this way on my jeeps, well worth the effort.

Thanks John X Thats pretty much my reasoning.I can get the four ends for about $120 with jam nuts and either drill and tap some thick wall DOM use some inserts with some thick wall DOM.I priced out the dodge T style parts and it was over $350. Evan if it comes in at that price to do now it wont get me again because all I would need is just the ends.
