are all the bolt patterns the same on all of the transfer cases for our trucks, also are all the automatic's shafts the same, looking for 94-04 for t-case to swap into my truck, i would like to use one from an 03 and up, all oppinions concidered

 

Bolt pattern is the same, but I don't think the spline count is always the same. I think that my 97 had a 23. My friends 04 also had a 23. I think some of the 3rd gens also had a 29 or 31 count but I can't remember for certain. Someone more knowledgeable than my self may chime in.

thanks i thought it would now i just need to know about the shatt spline count

 

23 spline for the autos and 29 spline for the manuals.

 

is that all auto's and all standard's, also would my drive shaft still work?
