I just bought a 1996 12v that has an after market 4.5" lift with 35 inch ATs. I am not so sure I am liking the lift so much. Does anyone know what the 4.5" lift and 35s does to the engine and drivetrain? I am thinking it puts a lot of stress on both. Next question does anyone know the best aka cheapest place to buy the stock suspension or how to get the suspension back to a leveled stock suspension???

 

Where are you located? If I were you I'd try to find someone semi-local to you who is willing to swap suspensions. Shouldn't be too hard to find someone who would like a free lift kit.

If you would like to keep those 35" tires you will need a leveling kit up front.
