Started KDP fix..
Not much to say really...its'..."fun"
So far its' taking forever; my main holdup was the 4th fan bolt behind the pulley. TST tells you to trim down a wrench or use the open end...yeah right. I found out - to save yourself from the torture of the stupidly placed bolt - that if you remove the 6 10mm bolts from the fan pulley & slide it forward, that gives you much more room to work with. (I just held back on 1 & broke the other 5 loose...you can actually hold back on the fan nut w/channellocks & break them loose that way I believe). I actually weaseled in a 1/4" ratchet/short socket to break mine loose.
But, I just have the balancer to remove, then it appears I can get into the case & see if the KDP moved at all.

I would've had I been able to get the fan nut broken loose. I have the actual fan removal tool, but could only find part of it. .
But, aside from having to re-adjust the RPM sensor tomorrow, its' done.
The KDP DID move (see pic) but not much.
Most of the stuff went back on easy. Would've been nice if I had remembered how the serpentine belt went... I cursed at it for a while.
All in all it's just a bunch of stupid small steps piled together & its' time consuming. But, now I know how to do it or most of it
