No it is a silent killer. For $30 do it before it gets you. I paid $1600 to get it set right after it let go.

 

It'll make one heck of a racquet when you're on the go pedal AFTER it breaks and the innerds float around. D' dont worry about it, I got a guy near us that'll R&R it for about $1000.00

 

Yep, it makes a nasty grinding/whining sound when you are on the skinny pedal. Mine killed my t-case also. Went with the t-case saver and never looked back.

It happens a lot more often than you hear about.

I had never heard about it until it happened to me, then I read posts about it all the time. I never paid attention before I guess.

IMO, this one should be up there with the KDP for easy/cheap fixes that you should do right away to save big money in the future.
