Hey guys-
My truck goes in for the remote start install on Sunday. I've had a slow starting problem I wanted to get fixed before it goes in but I'm not sure what is causing it.
The truck has new feed and return lines from the tank to the engine, a lift pump that is just over a year old, new relay for the shut off solenoid and new fusiable link.
The truck starts great with just the slightest amount of throttle other wise it takes a solid 6-8 seconds of cranking. It does not run choppy like it is losing prime, just takes a while to fire off.
No idea what fuel pressure is becuase my Quadzilla sender failed and well I'll leave it at that.
Could this be over flow valve related?

What he said. Bump it up a bit to 850, warm, in neutral.

 

Can't remember off hand but I'd say its more like 700-750. I'll take a look in the morning. Thanks guys

 

She fires right off now, thanks guys.
All the linkage looks to be in pretty good shape but I guess there was just enough slop in there to drop the idle.
