pulled my stock injectors after 240k miles or so, I was suprised at the rust on them. I was also suprised at the gunk on my fuel line seats, at the pump and at the injector.

I really wonder now if I should add something other than my stock fuel filter. Something that will get the water out and filter gunk out the fuel better.

If I think about it I'll toss up some pics, see if these injectors are normal for their age.

 

Rusty on the tips/insides, or just exterior rust? If its the latter, then the square o-rings that go in the retaining nut were either deteriorated or missing.
