For those of you that have removed your check valve that is in the stock cooler lines for your transmission, Don't take your dipstick tube out without draining the trans first, OR do it with the engine running.

I broke the top of my dipstick tube and after letting my truck cool off today, decided to swap it out. I thought it would be an easy job, just pull the old one and install the new one. Well I pulled the old one off and 4-5 quarts of fluid came out FAST. All over me. Lesson learned, thought I would pass it along.
