Reflashing the PCM

I rebuilt the trany the other day and after talking with a few differant people about tourque convertor lock up and have been told there is a tsb out that reflashes the computer. Has anyone had this done on a 47rh equiped Truck? If so what was the Tsb? Did it make drivability better?

I had my 2500 reflashed for OD to engage at 55 mph instead of 47 when it was new. I did it because I felt it would make the stock tranny last longer. Guess it did because it was still going strong at 220k when I replaced it.
Good luck getting it done now as the '95s aren't OBD standardized.
Many dealers no longer have the equipment to do it let alone someone that knows how to run it.
No harm in asking though.
