Just climbing out of my rotted out truck this evening....this thread makes me jealous! But motivated too I hope.... I like the green to accent the motor, different.

Did you end up cutting any new parts on the cab? IE rocker panels? I ask because that's the biggest problem on my truck. It was a NH road crew truck with some steps that had a rubber gasket against the rockers, holding all the crud in. By the time I noticed the bubbles, I tapped them with a screwdriver and it went right through. Now even the steel behind the painted rocker is rotting out, can still buy the parts through LMC. Just looking for tips if you went that far.

Looking good, keep up the good work (and pics)!

Thanks gorms, do it it will be worth it, thanks I like the green to, yea lots of sheet metal work on her, basicaly everything, and you can get all the sheet metal through LMC but I got.mine through shermans, the inner rocker on mine was pretty bad to I made mine with some galvinised steel so I don't need to worry about them rusting, thanks I will im so close to done just buttoning everything up painting the bed this weekend and im done so im getting pretty pumped

www.discountautomirrors.com has them for $60 each and you will have to select for the year 2003 but they do bolt on with the supplied bracket which is a flat piece of metal which im pretty sure is the bracket you need to make it fit but someone else might chime in just to confirm... by the way your truck looks great man, im jelous lol

Ok I talked to a buddy with a '94 (mine came with the mirrors just had to replace one) and he looked at the bracket and confirmed its what you need to fit them on your truck so yes, in the box comes the mirror and the bracket.. adapter whatever you wanna call it. And you will not regret putting them on.. not only for looks but it makes driving easier with less blind spots.. other than the big mirrors themself lol but well worth it

well just about got the front clip done painted everything that i am going to right now,( not gonna paint the grill until i finish my bumper), got my interior in just got to put the sill's in and bolt down my seat the rest of the way, so i am almost done putting the battery trays in and hooking all the rest of that stuff up either tonight or tomorrow, and going to try and finish paint on the bed by the end of the weekend, let me know what you all think, im pretty excited to be done with this project.
