Rear main leaking & Torque converter question

Well today I checked the oil, 2 and a half quarts low- this is not normal, found no leaks anywhere around the power stearing pump or the front where a kdp could have shot out, but the rear bell houseing has oil dumping out of it... I suppose the rear main has died? Is there any other areas where it could leak?
while i have the trans moved back fixing the rear main or whatever the hell is at fault I suppose I should throw in a new torque converter since the stock one slips after 1/2 throttle in overdrive- I have plans to push this truck up to full fuel plate with boost elbow, my friends says a full tripple disk banks is a must for the 47rh but the $1,000 price is rough- any other good strong converters out there?
Thanks, Joe

the rear valve cover could be leaking too, runs the oil down the back of the block and can appear like a rear main leaking.

mines leaking too

I hope I'm not right behind you with my TC, I think I may have heard it slip but I'm not 100% sure. I just added a #10 plate and it's about in the middle position along with 3k GSK and DDP stage 1 injectors.

havn't really gotten to take the truck thru its paces too much yet as I don't have my guages installed (they all sitting on my toolbox )

I know I have some kind of upgraded TC in there, but danged if I can remember what it is.

yeah, just checked its dry on the back of the block above the bell houseing. sucks! here is a video of my slipping the torque converter- it creates a vibration and you can see the RPM jump a few hundred when the boost builds at the 1:28 min mark, i also cannot stand how high the engine rev's when its to the floor. way to much gasser DNA in this trans.
