Anybody know what the size of the rear frost plug is on the very back of the block just below the the head and just above the belhousing? Need to get a new one so I need to find out the proper size

I don't but I'll bet whoever took this picture does.
My understanding is Cummins sells a plate that bolts on the back of the block, turns the freeze plug into an outlet port to the heater core that warms up faster.

There was a pretty good thread about this when I lost mine in the 24v but a quick search didn't show it for me? Since I was bit once with this plug I decided to buy one for the 12v and put it in during the trans swap unfortunately I cant find the part # but measuring the plug Cummins sold me its 2.286" Since I haven't yet installed this one I cant say its the right one? I do know they changed the part #s for these and the new superseded # is a little larger plug (big surprize) I'm sure a deeper search will show up the thread that had the old and new #s posted.

According to our storekeeper , who gets our Cummins parts for our buses here in the UK, the size if the plug is 58.06mm....Cummins part number 3922072....Price here in uk...about £3 each....Please check with your dealer 1st tho...I wouldn't want you ordering the wrong one.....But thats what we use here...
