Just wonderin how to take the rack stop out?Anybody know!

Why would you want too...

 

Taking the rackstop out allows maximum fueling at low/pre-boost which = SMOKE!

To take it out you simply remove the AFC housing from the motor and loosen the bolt head on the front of the housing. Its actually a long bolt that goes into the AFC housing.....remove it (may take a bit of prying to "pop" it out), pull it out, rackstop falls out (looks kinda like a boot), reinstall the bolt and reinstall the AFC housing.

 

Is there any advantages to removing the rack stop?

Sounds like a pain for no gain!!

 

Only thing to gain is more smoke. I have countless thousands of miles on my pump with mine out BUT with a fuel plate installed (will never run plate-less). and have had no problems.
