Possible Rear End Problem?
My 96 Club Cab 2500 2wd 5 Spd That I Just Bought Has A Strange Vibe While In 5th, When You Let Off The Throttle, Right Before You Let All The Way Out The Vibe Happens Same When You Accelerate. If You Accelerate Past That Spot In The Throttle Everything Seems Fine, Also When Taking Off From A Dead Stop Its Like Something Is Binding Because When I Take Off It Locked Up Then It Releases But It Doesnt Do This All The Time. One Other Thing Is When Im Barely Rolling I Get A Bumping Feeling From The Rear. Thanx, Any Help Is Greatly Appreciated!

For starters, have a good look at the u-joints. They can transmit some weird feelings when they seize or become loose. Possible too to be a broken tooth on the crown or pinion. Take the cover off the rear end and try to pry the carrier side-to-side. (truck in neutral with emer. brake on.) Make sure there's no end play to the carrier. Have a look at all the teeth. Remove the driveshaft and flex all the joints each direction.

rear ends dont usually vibrate when something is wrong, more of a noise issue. check the driveline u joints, pop the cover and check the spider gears also.
