ok hi everyone and thanks for taking the time to help,here is my problem. first my truck takes 5-8 seconds to start then it will run at about 4-500 rpm for a few min then slowly move back up to normal. second after running down the road for a while when i come to a stop light it boggs down again to 4-500 sometimes. if i run the a/c it will bog down every time i idle. i,v checked my fuel pressure and that is good also did a fuel leak down test and that was fine. i just rebuilt my fuel preheater and screen and still the problem persists. any help would be much appreciated thanks.

is your idle speed hi enough ?

850 rpm i think mine says , on the engine speck plate i believe ?

dont want less than 750 in gear with ac ,it will help intrafic engine cooling and ac operation !

yeah i think it is too low i will adjust it tonight and get back to you all i did not know it had to adjusted while in gear and a/c on.

 

i just got done adjusting the idle and it runs like a champ now i used a photo tach on the dampener to get it spot on. thanks again
