8-10 mpg on a failing, stock converter last year.

16-20 mpg now with remaned tranny and 1600 stall billet converter. Could probably get slightly better but I honestly can't keep my foot out of it!

 

I get 17 around town, 23 on the road, once got 26 filled up right at the freeway drove to sea-tac airport and filled up at the same pump on the return.
have a 94 ford turbo 7.3 IDI it gets 9-11 but it does weigh 11,000 pounds(service truck) even empty it it only does 1-2 mpg better.gonna retire the ford, time for a new work truck. tired of the hard starting.
