PCM fried? maybe
ok, i need as much help as possible.
on friday i was pulling out of a rodeo with my 94 and my horse trailer, and i was doing about 35, i noticed that the brake and ABS lights stayed on. i thought that maybe the key got stuck on the start position. i turned it back and accidentally killed the truck.
i pulled over right away and tried to start it but it wouldnt crank over. all electrical worked except the windows didnt roll up. after checking all the fuses and relays (which are still good) we tried to start it but it wouldnt crank, not even a click, so my dad got underneath and started it with screwdriver touching the two contacts on the starter.
later that night it gave me the codes 12 and 34.
also on the way home, after driving for about 7 miles, the tachometer and speedo went completely out and the truck wouldnt go into overdrive. so i had to drive for another 5 miles before i got home at about 45-50 mph
does any one know what it could be? im thinking its the pcm but im not sure.
i just want some insight before i take it to the shop on wednesday

Make sure the battery ground to the body is good. On my Jeep Cherokee, once, that ground cable went bad and everything would work excpet the engine wouldn't crank. Turn the key and nothing would happen. No click, no nothing. It took about two days to figure it out. Could be a similar problem.
I think most electical problems are usually bad grounds.

i took it to the West Coast Diesel shop on wednesday and im gonna go pick it up today
the guy told me they found a bad circuit/relay for the starter but it was a short in the wiring.
he said it took forever to find it but the guy does good work. i missed my truck so much the past weekhttps://www.dieseltruckresource.com/forums/images/smilies/laughing.gif
