Part # for speedy sleeve (wear sleeve) KDP
I am going to be installing the TST Killer Dowel Pin Fix Kit. I don't think it includes a speedy sleeve so i would like to have one on hand in case it is needed.
In the TST kit is has a cummins box with part # 3804899 on it.
Any recommendations on where to find this info?
Thanks, Kurtis

I would think you would only need a speedy sleeve if the seal had worn a groove in the crankshaft. When I did the KDP on my 1997 I even re-used the crank seal.

A speedy sleeve is a thin metal sleve that installs over the end of the crankshaft to repair a groove that has worn into the crankshaft from the old seal.
This might help. Speedy sleeve

When you use a Speedy Sleeve you also have to use a seal with a larger id to match it. The Cummins seal won't work. No need for a SS on the front shaft anyways since you can install the new seal a little shallower or deeper to avoid a groove.
Normally a groove won't be worn into the shaft unless a leak has gone on for a while. It's the abrasive action of dust and grit in the leaking oil that wears a groove in the shaft.

from what i understand you also need to buy a special tool from cummins to install the speedy sleeve and it's about $300. just did my kdp and the crank was fine there was a rust line between the two sealing surfaces which i just cleaned off with some 400 grit wet paper. the old seal was leaking but the new one is fine now i have 275,000 km on it.

the front uses a "speedy sleve" that comes with the tool to instal it on the crank (comes as a kit from cummins)
the rear wear sleve does use a larger seal cause the wear sleve is so thick
the front wear sleve is only 10-15 tho so the seal will fit over it
Also kurtis I found out the front crank seal surface is 2.5" OD
