Part number for carrier bearing?

Title pretty much says it all. Just wanting a PN for the carrier bearing on my truck. I got one a week or so back, and it was the wrong one. I don't know if the guy at O'Rilley just gave me the wrong one, or what, but it was completely different from the one I have on the truck. Hopefully the guy I usually deal with will be there tomorrow morning.

Are you talking about the carrier bearing in the rear end or the drive shaft support bearing? Drive shaft support bearing in link below.

Yeah, driveshaft support bearing. I've always called them carried bearings... Thanks a bunch.

There are two available. Buy the more expensive one, of course.

I ran into this problem with local parts stores. They said there were three different kinds, apparantly, there was four and they and 3 of 4, not the one I need of couse. I had to go to dealership. I'll see if I still have part number on it.

Well, I'm a tard. It's the ujoint. And my carrier bearing is the dealer only one as well.

It turns out I had shaken the rear half of the drive shaft and just assumed it was the carrier. So I'm in a much better mood that I'm buying a ujoint, instead of a dealer only $140 carrier bearing...

I had the same problem with O'reillys. I ended up going to NAPA. They had the right carrier bearing for my '96 Ram.
