Is the gov. lever almost at the rear of the pump? If so that might be where it's coming from??I had a guy do a 3k gov. spring kit recently is there somthing he might have disturbed when doing it???

Gov lever adjustment is done from the rear of the pump. When he did the springs, he may have come from the side, in which there is a large plug on the rear drivers side of the pump that may be leaking.

And if he went through the top it could be the AFC leaking.

When I first got my truck I thought the IP was leaking but I found it was the O ring on the oild dipstick above the IP. It leaks down on the pump and the oil works its way around the pump.

There's also an oil feed line I believe coming to the top rear of the AFC housing.
