overflow valve ?
i put a 3gsk in my truck.then over3200 it would cut in and out.so i stretched the overflow valve spring.then4000 rpms.so i bought a new overflow valve from peirs diesel55.00.now it does the cut in and out thing again.i was told timing but why when i stretched the spring no problem?what could it be?thanks

Arent you only supposed to get 3200 out of a 3kgsk? If you had a 4kgsk you can get 4000-4200rpms. It just depends on how tight you run the springs.
I think it sounds right to me. You are starting to defuel at those rpms.
stretching the spring too much can result in to much fuel pressure, and it WILL damage the pump.
