overdrive switch not working

I just got in the truck this morning to go to town and it wouldn't shift out of low. I started fooling with it and cleaned the connections on the trans and put electric grease on them but to no avail. I then noticed the overdrive switch has no power to it. Is there a fuse somewhere on this or could this be a computer problem.I checked all the fuses I know of and nothing is blown. Yesterday while driving it suddenly out of nowhere it kicked out of gear. I pulled over and put it in neutral and back in gear and it worked perfect. Does the overdrive switch go directly to the computer. Thanks,Gary

I just did some more checking and it has power to one prong and ground to two more, I'm guessing the switch just went bad.

The positive power to the switch is just for the pilot light, the circuit that controls OD is a momentary contact ground path. There is also one wire that goes to the dash light dimming circuit.

Switch is dealer only, last time I paid $26

Thanks, they surely keep them in stock. There is a dealer close to where I'm working right now. I called the parts store this morning just hoping but they said dealer only too. Thanks,Gary
